I just saw their latest 3-round mock claiming how the Jets could get an A on their draft. Kiper said the Jets should make the following picks: 1. Josh Allen, OLB 3a. Michael Dieter, OG 3b. Amani Oruwariye, CB Allen is the right pick at #3, but not taking a C, and taking Dieter who was pretty bad at the Sr. Bowl, and then taking a stiff-hipped CB in round 3? I'd give that draft a B-, and it would only be that high because I love Allen. I don't want either Dieter or Oruwariye. Kiper justifies taking Dieter by saying he has him as his 2nd ranked center, but I've seen no one else project him as a center. McShay said the Jets should make the following picks: 1. Quinnen Williams, NT 3a. Zach Allen, DE 3b. Kelvin Harmon, WR If Harmon were to fall that far, I'd give that draft a D, (and it would only be that high because I like Harmon), but I see no way he'll fall that far. I think he'll go early in the 2nd round, if not late 1st. So I'd give his mock an F- since the only player I like wouldn't even be there at the Jets' 3b pick. I don't think Q. Williams is a good fit. Zach Allen was awful at the Sr. Bowl and I think also underwhelming at the Combine. He's also not an edge rusher except maybe in a 4-3 alignment. I don't want a 281 pould OLB. I don't want either player. Harmon could be the #1 WR we need, but I don't see any way he falls that far.
Not to mention that this would prove how clueless Macc is about the importance of the OL, as well as AGAIN prioritizing the "D" over the "O".
