A top five total offense is a pipe dream with our running game. With Jenkins in the mix, option B is far closer to reality.
Top 5 offense would require steady consistent drives, mixed with big aerial attacks every once in a while, and the defense getting off the field on 3rd downs. That seems like a lot to ask for. On the other hand, the Jets are already 3rd in the NFL in rushing defense, and as long as Jenkins stays healthy, I don't see why we can't remain there or climb.
Are we talking offensive yards or points? Because we are currently ranked 22nd in yards. #1 rush D looks more likely based on how the units have performed week-to-week.
