Anyone getting this next week? The graphics look amazing and it looks like this will easily tide me over till Madden is out. Also does anyone know how I can transfer downloaded rosters to my 360?
I got it early for 360 yesterday and have to say its a really good game and building block 4 next years n further down the line. The Good: Great looking stadiums, player animations, fluid gameplay, fun, better AI prevents cheesers from using plays over n over againg. Didnt think I would say this but the mini games are addictive looked stupid at first fun when I tried it. No online lag, realistic gameplay finally looks like it will favor people who play sim style gameplay. A sweet madden vid that comes with the game. The Bad: Lack of modes, not that big a deal for me but to some it means everything. Im not going to rip EA b/c its the first NCAA and I can epect every stadium and every mode plus great gameplay. Create a Player is shallow. You can only edit personal info like name, hometown height, weight etc.. BUT cant edit equiment which sucks, not all stadiums. Realistically if the stadiums were going to look this good you cant epect them all in one year, franchise doesnt have magazine and lacks spring game. Thats all I can think of for now, I think its a really fun game but lacks modes which makes it a great game. Im gonna give it between a B n B+. If your not really into college football I would be cautious to suggest it to you but the game is fun but lasting power is questionable
I just reserved it, getting it on tuesday, went out at midnight to get Madden 06 for PS2, that didnt work out good, so, ill wait.
I got it early for 360 on Friday, it's excellent. I actually blocked an extra point. The animations work well, the playbooks are pretty extensive. The weather affects play, heavy, heavy downpours = lots of fumbles. Change player #'s to names they same the names...example I love Penn State, #14 is Anthony Morelli..they say Morelli back to pass....
I'm going to get it for PS2 tomorrow. The releases have always had a lot of controversey around them, but at the same time I've always got mine that opening Tuesday. Plus, if they don't have it, my ass is camping out in their store all day until they call mall security, because I have off from work, and time to kill.
Nobody has rosters up yet (it just came out), but they should be up by the end of the week. To get the rosters onto the 360 you need to buy a transfer kit (its only $15) but you also need a memory card ($40 and is pretty much useless if u have a hard drive). Once they are up Il post a link on this thread.
I got the game early b/c there is an independent game store by my house, they dont have contracts with EA so they break street date
Nah its illegal for EA to do that since NCAA athletes can't be endorsed. Thats why theres no names in any college games.
