Can someone explain to me what has happened with the 4th. I know we got JM, but how did we end up with that pick? I thought we had no picks between the 3rd and the 5th. When is our next pick? and what was the trade to get back in the 4th? What do we have left exactly?

we didn't have a 3rd and a 5th - Braylon and Santonio... but you should count them as draft picks because they were used to get them.

The jets traded Rhodes for a 4th this year and a 7th in 2011.

We traded our 4th 124, and our 6 188? to move up 12 spots and grab Mcknight.

We have our 7th left, but according to schefter, he expects Leon to be moved today which would recoup some kind of pick(s) or god forbid we actually get a straight up player for player trade that could be quite good for us.

I hope the Jets get a 5th rounder for Leon so that this whole board goes apeshit.

If we can get Ricky Sapp then I have no problem with the Jets moving Bryan Thomas as well.

Thanks guys, very helpful, sounds like unless leon is moved we are not picking until the 7th.

They must be addressing DL/DE depth in the 7th or post draft.

Bahahahahaha. Remember when Leon was too good to take a 5th for him? Joe McKnight made him soooo expendable.

But if he hadn't gotten injured (I know, big if)--he'd have commanded at least a 2nd. I'm afraid he'll come back healthy and burn us--bad.

Obviously the injury to Leon is a concern to the Jets. If we trade him for a 5th rounder and pick up a decent DE, then I'll be okay with it.

Leon was the shit, but he has a greedy agent that made him expendable.

I trust what the FO is doing in this draft.

whats funny is the jets helped set the market on what players are worth this year by getting a guy like holmes with a 5th.

We trade away 4th Round # 124 and 6th Round #198 (from Arizona) to get McNight, but who's quibbling over a few digits?

We have 7th Round #236 and we're done. Leon is toast now, because of this pick, and will probably be traded more as distress merchandise because everyone knows our hand now.
