Seriously think about it this would be a great signing. Then Odell Thrumon when he comes back Ricky Manning Santonio Holmes bring back Quincy Carter. Chris Henry trade for Tank Johnson Yeah man that would be great! ALL MAngini players
the sarcasm requirement for thinking this hasnt even been scratched yet....this guy shouldnt be allowed to play professional football anymore if he gets indicted. theres a great article on espn.com about pacman (1 of 3 that arent insider only...im so tired of espn.com with all their pay to read bullshit. but i digress) and it gives you a pretty good look into his world. dont get me wrong, he brought everything on himself. instead of lifting up the people he cares about, he lets them bring him down. he should be tossed outta the NFL, just like some of the other big time trouble makers. theres no way that you get looked into by the cops 10 different times in under 2 years and have it all be coincidence. as far as him being a jet....no. he isnt worth the league minimum because he would just become a distraction with all his off the field bullshit.
yea i wouldnt doubt it. guy is a nut job 10 arrests/ police altercations since he been in the league come on!
Donkey Kong would be more of a Mangini guy. Build from the inside out. Kong can dominate any DT in the league.
We have Pacman Jones already, only his name is Justin Miller, and he's actually sane. Why anyone would ever sign Pacman Jones, who will spend more days in jail than on the football field in his life, is beyond me.
I put this in the NFL forum. The last thing we need is this guy. And that is IF he's even in the league this year. Talk of getting him is absurd especially with the players we already have Jones may not return to Titans facility later this month Associated Press http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2793441 NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher doesn't expect troubled cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones to return to the Titans' facility with the rest of his teammates when they report March 19. The NFL is examining 10 separate incidents in which Jones has been questioned by police since being drafted, including a Feb. 19 triple shooting at a Las Vegas strip club. Fisher and chief operating officer Steve Underwood met with Jones' lawyers at the attorneys' request Friday for what Fisher characterized as an information-gathering meeting. Fisher said the Titans are still gathering their own information before deciding whether to keep Jones. "As an organization it's always been our policy to gather facts and to make sure we have all the information, and that's what we're doing," he said. "At this point, I don't see him coming back on the 19th." Fisher was clearly upset that Jones failed to inform team officials about two arrests in Fayette County, Ga., last year, including one related to a search for drugs at the home Jones bought for his mother. "Typically speaking, if there's a situation like this, it's the player's responsibility to inform the club and that did not take place," Fisher told reporters Friday. Jones' attorneys, Worrick Robinson and Manny Arora, said on radio station WGFX on Friday morning that they didn't expect Jones to be charged in the Las Vegas episode, but acknowledged that their client too often is in the wrong place at the wrong time. "If he doesn't commit to changing it, at some point it's going to be too much," Arora said. "It may already be there to some extent."
lol, I forgot about Ray Carruth that would be an impressive signing along with Pacman. Too bad Richie Anderson got hired away. We could fire that square Schottenheimer and bring a real man as the Offensive coordinator. Lets get Koren Robinson, I think he is available cheap. Dominic Rhodes would have fit in nicely too. Hey instead of green and white lets just get new uniforms, Orange jumpsuits with NYDOC on them.
I asked the exact same question. There is no doubting his ability , but this guy has wasted cjance after chance after chance. Now it turns out hes been hiding other stuff too. Don't think this leopard will ever change his spots. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/story/503703p-424844c.html Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher told a Nashville radio station yesterday that cornerback Pacman Jones did not notify the team when he was arrested twice last year - ommissions that could allow the league to fine and suspend Jones, try to void his contract, or banish him from the NFL altogether.
I remember saying in a thread along while back that Pacman Jones would not last three years in NFL. The young man has serious character flaws and needs ALOT of professinal help..It seems he wants to just be a street hood and his NFL gig is just getting in the way..Its really a shame for such a talent. How did he ever get through 4 years of college without getting the boot?
