Peterson does have a great point. http://profootballzone.com/nfl/patrick-peterson-richard-sherman-isnt-shutdown-corner/
He's right. I don't get all the Sherman love. He plays 98% of the time on one side of the field. He has the best passrush out of all the teams with good corners.
Sherman is a great player but he is not a shutdown corner, Peterson has slowly been working his way there. Personally I'd take Peterson over Sherman but thats just me, Seattle plays a lot of cover 3 with 2 GREAT safeties so Sherman gets a lot of opportunities to pick off passes.
Somehow I didn't even know that Sherm plays zone. I thought Seattle played man, because well...who would talk so much trash when they're a zone corner? It takes so much less talent to do that, as opposed to playing man imo. Stupid... +1 for PP.
Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but being able to shut down a receiver hip to hip with no safety help is a little bit different than dropping 10 steps at the snap and staring at the play with a safety cheating underneath.
