I don't see us holding them to 6... they have McGahee. Hell, they have a RB period. :drunk: 20-13 Ravens.
I can see why you say that, but I think there was something wrong with Willis.. Didn't Musa Smith out perform him last week.. We'll see though..
I agree. The Jets just need to win the turnover battle, so the ground game will be key. I know, I know....."our O-line sucks and we can't run the ball." I've heard it. I think Baltimore is weak this year. I think the Jets are better. You can't judge them entirely on the beating they took in week 1. Baltimore is reeling from 6 turnovers, they lost Adalius Thomas, Ray Lewis is hurt, and their QB looked old and broken last week.
Baltimore 13 jets 6 one offensive td by Bmore the rest is field goals. Bmore will probably turn the ball over 2x but jets wont be able to capitalize on them
Need to get an early lead and make Boller throw. We get an early TD, then hold on with FG's. 16-13 Jets.
I may seem like i pick on you but the things you say make no sense . I never understood when it said to win the turn over battle . What turn over? how do we know there will even be a turn over at all. Is it possible Yes! is it likely maybe so. But that is no factor at all in terms of what lies before the Jets . We have to first know who is the actual starter (Hocus pocus poof .... )Then prey the line can hold up this time and keep any Quarter back upright ! If its Chad out there at 4:15 then you can expect a conservative run first throw second approach ; if it Kellen out there Hey we may just see the same approach. The key is Play a solid mistake free game and that might just be enough! Maybe.
It's cool, I don't mind getting picked on. Question...rank these 4 QB's in order.... Pennington Kellen Mcnair Boller This is actually the way I rank them right now. BOTH of your QB's are better than theirs. True, your line needs to protect the Qb and get a push for the running game. I think you overestimate Baltimore's D for this game. They are not what they were last year. They are not even close to the Pats D, even without Seymour or Harrison. Lewis is hurting, did you see his arm limp last week? He was tackling one armed. I think it will only be a matter of time before he reinjures it. McGahee...he's a good RB...not great. If Cincy could keep him under control, so can the Jets.
If I rank those QBs for tomorrow assuming Pennington & McNair are healthy enough to play I would rank them like this Penny Boller (he scares me more than McNair) McNair Clemens Problem is Clemens is likely to start and the Ravens in Baltimore is a tough spot for him to make his first start. I'm pretty confident in the Jets D playing angry & controlling Ravens O, they might need to score to win though. I don't think the Ravens are that good, they are definetly beatable, I'm just not sure Clemens can go on the road in this spot and win a game. I sure hope so.
