Gets announced tomorrow. I know it's a popularity contest to a degree, but who gets in from the Jets?
revis, mangold, brick, brad smith, cromartie, LT, richardson, Keller revis has been the best CB again this year plus by name alone he is an every year pro bowler from now on mangold and brick the same. they earned it and have name recognition. smith has earned it being the top return man in the AFC Cro has been great opposite of revis but probably won't make it. i heard he was 4th in fan voting though LT and richardson are not deserving but might make it on name. Keller is deserving as well 3rd in yards for AFC TEs 4th in catches for AFC TEs tied for 3rd in TDs for AFC TEs Gates will make it but other then him who would be the 2nd and 3rd TEs?
Brandon Moore well deserves it but will not even come close to makin it cause if your not a Jet fan most dont even know who he is.Sad but true!
Mangold, Brick, and Moore all have a chance to go.. Harris deserves consideration. Pouha deserves consideration, although he'd never get voted in. Revis deserves it based on his 2nd half of the season and will probably get in because of the big name, and Cromartie has a chance as well. But the only one who absolutely deserves it without question is Brad Smith I would say.
I think half of our team will be active alternates because they loves the spotlight and most of the original starters will bail. But only Mangold and possibly Revis and Brick will make the Pro Bowl as starters. The NFL wanted to make the Pro Bowl more relevant, and only succeeded in the opposite.
Zach Miller is more deserving than Keller. His numbers are almost identical and he was injured a huge chunk of the season. Ill even mention Tamme, or any of New Englands tight ends. No way Keller makes it, he has been incredibly non productive since week 4. The guy has the talent but his production simply wasnt there.
Normally I would pass on a Pro Bowl thread because the Pro Bowl blows, but I'm snowed in and bored. AFC TEs would are in the mix (in no particular order)- Antonio Gates Jacob Tamme Tony Moeaki Jermaine Gresham Zach Miller (Oakland) Aaron Hernandez Rob Gronkowski Dustin Keller Todd Heap Ben Watson Heath Miller Remember, guys get voted in for stupid reasons every year. A player might be having a subpar season, but his team is doing good and he made the Pro Bowl the previous three seasons, so he gets in on reputation blah blah blah. I'd vote for Gates, Moeaki, and Watson.
Keller? With Gates, Hernandez, Tamme, etc.? Edit: didn't see Cakes' post but we are thinking the same thing.
