You need a better wr and having Stewart and Williams as starters is pretty dicey.kolb is a wildcard tough call on whether Reid is gonna let him chuck it around like mcnabb did.I'd put one of the Carolina rbs on the block and see if I could get a better wr.IMO
It's so-so. You have very strong RBs but pretty weak WRs. Not the end of the world since it's only .5 ppr, but I feel like you probably missed pretty bad with pick #5... getting a better WR #2 would have made your team much better. Williams with your 2nd pick was a steal. I really like the potential on almost all of your bench players so that's a big plus... getting APs backup was especially clutch. I'd be nervous without a decent backup for Kolb.
It's August 4. How can anyone say if that is a good team or a bad team? Not one of those players will play a real down for over a month, and some of them may not see the field all season. All that can be said is that you drafted far too early.
Well I asked for feedback and I got it lol. I think in a 12 team league you guys are underrating my backs a bit. AP might be the best player in the league, and both Carolina boys put up consistent stats year in and year out. I've given thought to putting one on the block but I like the idea of having them both. And MB I'm pissed about Kolb but all of the big 7 were taken by my pick in the second round. That's right guys. Philip fucking Rivers is a second rounder. So I waited until the 7th and took a guy that's in a great situation for a QB coaching and personnel wise. I agree with the general sentiment on my receivers, however I think we might see a bounce-back season or at least the same type of season from Housh. Even in what people consider the shittiest of years for him he had 79 receptions. Of course a problem is I also don't expect Steve Smith to catch 107 balls again. But I feel like during the course of the year, surprise wideouts can be found. Not really sweating it. Drafted like shit last year and traded and found free agent gems on my way to a title (big ups to Mendy Miles Austin and Jamaal Charles)
Kolb played one decent game last year....against the Chiefs. I'm surprised he never made it to your league's waiver wire. Your HBs are pretty good.....and you get points for receptions (Steve Smith is a good pick there). It's not an ideal team....but you have some pieces to work with.
I think your team might surprise, your RBs are really good and your WR's while not flashy could get you some pts. Kolb is the big question mark
The success of your team hinges on Kolb, who has been given a great opportunity, and your WR 2 and 3. The main flaw with your team is that since you focused on RB in the first 5 rounds, you should've drafted WRs with potential in later rounds over guys like Maroney and MBIII (Garcon, Knox, Britt etc). Expecting big things from Housh, Wallace, and Hester could bite you. To correct this, you should work the WW hard as news comes out of camp and during weeks 1-3. Good luck.
The RBs are nice, but 6 points per passing touchdown means you're going to be hurting unless Kolb has a huge year. -3 for interceptions could hurt with an unproven QB. If I'm not getting a top 7 QB, I'm making sure I get Ben (or Favre now) because while Kolb has upside, the Eagles do a lot of annoying things on offense that will piss you off as an Eagles QB owner.
Your team doesn't look too hot. If you include the rounds that the players were drafted we might be able to see where you went wrong. My guess would be that you went RB in the first 3-4 rounds.
