He did for a while. The first 4 innings he was very sharp, then there was a seeing eye single, then a ball that they couldn't turn the double play on, then Adam Jones was fooled badly on a pitch and dribbled a swinging bunt. That pitch was half an inch from ending the inning. He also hit 95 on the gun, and his stuff looked great. There was a lot more to be encouraged about in this start than the box score shows.
