    Like many, was not a big fan of his in the Ali era, but ended up loving him in his return.
    I still remember vividly seeing him for the first time standing in the corner between rounds.

    I was fortunate enough to have seen him win the gold medal at the Mexico City Olympics in 1968. He had an amazing transformation of personality over his life from a nothing to a beloved media darling. I think he had a large number of children and all the boys were named George.
