http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2008/09/kowalski_on_wdfn_lions_not_int.html sorry there was a typo in title, I thought he was going to get traded, still I would think the Jets might consider him if he is not franchised
i hope so we would be awesome if we got him i love roy williams and he would be what we are missing at WR
I don't particularly care for him. He's a weird guy and I think he could be a real annoyance after he gets his next big contract. I wrote this stuff about him in August-
I know he wants to be the main guy wherever he goes, but I would imagine that Dallas has a high interest in him. And although he wouldn't be the #1 reciever right away, I think he'd still be somewhat excited to go play for such a high powered offense.
Yeah, he could definitely go to Dallas and that is one spot where he would maybe be okay with being the #2 receiver for a few years till Owens retires.
I like Williams, but at this point I'd rather hold on to what we have, as I like our offense as it is right now. On top of that, as Keller develops he can become the physical presence on the field that Williams is.
Safety and Running Back seem like bigger needs, WR has to be one of the best units on the team. And once S and RB get taken care of, replacing Eric Barton becomes the next priority. And as long as I'm telling the Jets what to do, doesn't this season show how much WR performance is dependent on the QB? We could get Cocthery in the Pro Bowl this year, he would likely have spent his career without going with Penny or KC throwing to him.
