I can't believe they cut him, period. He's a damn good blocker. I might even take him over Tony Richardson for a long term deal. Must be tough, but he should have no problem finding a job.
sure they could have, but why? clearly your position depends on making this an emotional issue, which it isn't. it doesn't even sound like the player was upset about it, so why should you be?
this was a quite rude of them to cut him on the daybefore wedding day. He is a great run blocker. Maybe even the best FB in the entire NFL. I would welcome him on my team anyday
wow, id take him in a fucking heartbeat....anyone remember the game against the Cowboys he pummeled people and continiously got open for key catches? yeah this guy will have NO problem finding another job, wish it was here lol.
He's know for at least a week he was getting cut, as soon as they brought in weaver and Evans for visits he had to know, especially as tight as they are to the cap
Im not upset at all I just said the Saints suck for doing this. What are you my official spokesman. You know how I feel when I post.
It makes them suck (although I don't really care about him or the Saints one way or the other) because they should have done this at the beginning of FA, not as it is almost over. Not that fullback is so important but it may have made a difference to some team.
It's actually better for him that they cut him when they did, if you are going to be cut yopu want it to be early when more jobs are available, if they wait maybe a team with interest already invests that money in someone else like weaver then he's screwed
Reminds me of a Guy at my work who just came back from his honeymoon and they canned him. He walked into the office at 9:A.M. last Monday and was out the door at 9:10. Heartless bastards........the Guy was an outstanding Associate too.
