How has Brett favre made the NFC stronger, the guy is held together with tape and glue. First really big hit will be it.
Does anyone else have a feeling that the Vikes are a ticking time bomb?

Does he hate the Jets or something? No mention of Rex in the rookie coaches seems kind of strange with the attention he's been getting.

I've been wondering all along if anybody in the media watched Favre play at all the last month of the season? Ummm he wasn't very good and I don't know what would lead anybody to believe he is gonna be awesome come November and December.... my bet is the Packers win the division and stick it up Favre's ass.

His one motivation is to play is revenge on an organisation that he gave so much to, and gave so much back to him.
I really hope that Packers crush the Vikes and when it happens will have every sympathy for the Vikes fans that will feel betrayed, not only by Favre but their FO.

Williamson predicts we win 7-9 games but come in 4th..wow, is he saying Buffalo will win 10?

I also saw this line below:

"But Mangold is on his way to establishing himself as the league's greatest center. "

Did they mean "greatest" or "best". Huge difference.

Love it , bring it on.
Realistically we would be very lucky to qualify for the POs, so anything like 8-8 would be great.

I'll lay odds Sage Rosenfels is behind centre by November.

^I've thought about that. If he can't play a game he might just retire on the spot leaving his streak intact.

I wonder if he wrote this before or after they released their OC.

I agree, I thought the Vikes had a legitimate shot of going to the SB this year. Now that they've added Favre - I say no way. I don't care what Childress says , bringing in someone like this at the very end of camp has to be a distraction and create discension - ask the Jets. Sure his advantage is he knows the WCO the Vikes run , but with Favre that really doesn't matter , he just wings it and runs what he wants. When it works it can be a great thing , but when it falls apart like it did for us last year its downright fugly.

He has a long way to go to pass Mawae and I'm not sure Mawae is the greatest. According to ESPN they are Mike Webster, Dwight Stephenson, Jim Langer, Jim Otto and Jim Ringo.

I've been saying 4-6 wins all along. I don't think Clayton is off the mark.

That is, unless we manage to get Marshall.

6-10 isn't unreasonable at all. With a new hc and a lot of new players, a rookie qb, defensive players out at the beginning of the season.. it's hard to say. I wouldn't be shocked if we did better, but my prediction was 7-9.
