I disagree, I think Shanny has the right attitude for dealing with NYers, which is to act like a prick and not care what people think.
I still want to bring in Rex Ryan. The man has a murderous defense in Baltimore! he plays a 3-4, potentially could entice a free agent LB to weasel over from baltimore... remember he has 3 lbs up for FA this year Terrel Suggs, Bart Scott, and Ray Lewis (at least I am almost sure...) No way they can afford to keep all three... I would instantly drop Barton for Bart Scott in a heartbeat. Also I would expect us to dismiss Bryan Thomas as well freeing up cap space. so that wouldnt be a problem. Also If favre doesnt retire he will know he has to restructure to help the team win, so that will save us some serious dough. Also on the favre situation... I want him to come back next year, before people rip my head off, think about it. Many of you don't believe Clemens is the answer at QB. If that is the case, then clearly we would need a starter for '09. Ratliff is still too young and inexperienced for the job. If we feel he cant be our starter, we need to draft somebody. in which case I would prefer he has a year to develop. So we would still need a starter, so might as well be Brett Favre right?
