Seriously!!! I still cringe when I see an article about him because before that achilles injury most thought he was only a shade behind Ray Lewis. Not bad company. Now he's getting cut by Houston, sad. I still pull for him and if we didnt have Kassell and Shlegal I'd like him for depth and a vet presence.
You can be for that, but if he clears waivers, I'd bet you dollars to donuts he gets a decent sized contract. Now if you scoop him off waivers (we're 4th in the order), you assume the current deal (remember, no signing bonus though as Detroit takes that on). Lions | Pinner released from team Sat, 2 Sep 2006 09:39:40 -0700 DetroitLions.com reports Detroit Lions RB Artose Pinner has been released from the team. Williams wasn't too bad on the Vikings, and Pinner was a solid backup for the Lions for sometime, we wouldn't pick them up but they'd be good depth for a team that needs a RB.

Steelers | Harris released Sat, 2 Sep 2006 09:36:48 -0700 Steelers.com reports the Pittsburgh Steelers released DE Orien Harris Saturday, Sept. 2. These were two guys who were mentioned as guys people hoped the Jets would take, especially Jacobs.
Browns | Suggs expected to be released Sat, 2 Sep 2006 06:18:28 -0700 Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns RB Lee Suggs is expected to be cut by the team Saturday, Sept. 2. Well I guess we can get him for free, if we want.
Hah, I remember the Pats thought that Monty Beisel was going to be the answer to their ILB problem at one point...
