I still think the Jet's have a chance to catch the Patriots. Mangini's in Belichek's head which I think is awesome. Let's think even bigger than the wild card.
I'm telling you, Bill Belichek will rue the day he dissed Eric Mangini. What a classless act by a hall-of-fame caliber coach. OK, so he doesn't like the Jets, but who's Belichek to think he has the inalienable right to pick and chose where his assistants should be hired. Belichek needs to get over his "Anbody but the Jets!" attitude. Memo to Awesome Bill: Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear! (that's all I better say, or I may start swearing and get thrown out my first week here)
They're two games ahead of us at 9-3 | 4-1 Division | 5-3 Conference w/ remaining games: @Miami Houston @Jacksonville @Tennessee Considering we win out (I don't think it's likely but for the sake of argument) we will finish 11-5 | 5-1 Division | 8-4 Conference. New England will have to lose @ Miami to give us the Division record edge then drop one of the remaining three most likely @ JAX to finish 11-5 | 4-2 Division | 7-5 Conference. Not a completely impossible scenario, but I just don't see it happening.
I think they can go 1-3 and Jets will run the table. But then again, I hate the Patriots so I'm not the most impartial person when it comes to them. Yeah, its unlikely, but it would be great!
