Thought I heard one of the announcers say Manninghan just played his last game as a giant receiver and is an unrestricted FA. Not positive it was manningham but I know it wasn't cruze.

So how good are these guys?

Is it even worth talking about the dude coming here? Plax reincarnation? any chance this guy will shoot himself in the leg?

He would be a good 3/4 WR. Not good enough/reliable enough hands to be a #2 for Sanchez... But he can stretch the field

We need a tall strong WR that can get up and get the ball..No more short crafty guys. Granted Manningham can stretch the field, he's a good #3.

We already have the most overpaid #2 in the league ... Holmes.
What we need is a legitimate #1.

Yeah, but the closest we’re gonna do to a #1 is Braylon (1a 1b situation again)... Because after seeing the Giants passrush, I cant see us not drafting a passrusher in the 1st (unless trich falls or we draft OL).

Well then if he's healthy, go get Braylon 'cause this team NEEDS A PASS-RUSHER, BADLY.

Despite the season Santonio is a number 1 receiver. We need a big tall physical receiver that can stretch the field (Braylon, Vincent Jackson)

Sad to see a post claiming we need a guy like "Braylon"

Still blows my mind why we let him go

That sideline catch was beautiful but as someone who had Manningham on his fantasy team recently I would say that he drops a lot of catches that others would make.

I would take Cruz on Nicks in a heartbeat but pass on Manningham.

The bigger question is if Edwards is healthy or not, can he return to his prior form? Is he still going to piss and moan about not getting the big contract and allow that to affect him.

    Braylon, Holmes, Kerley=Nicks, Manningham, Cruz

    but sadly

    Eli>>>>>Sanchez

I give Mark this year with his deep threat in Edwards, his playmaker in Holmes and a great slot guy in Kerley, if his numbers aren't 60% completion percentage and 7+ YPC with a 60% 3rd Down Conversion rate

For all of the talk about Brady and the receivers, the announcers mentioned Chris Snee's name a lot in that game. A solid offensive line lets the offense stay on the field and gives all of those young skill players a lot more opportunities to develop.

    Eh I don't know.

The Giants' WR core is clearly the best in the NFL and you forgot the two lesser known TEs who never dropped passes down the stretch. The Jets even with a healthy Braylon, think '10, are not close.

Manningham does not improve the Jets I believe.

getting a FA WR doesnt work here. The Draft is the answer.
