While I did not really like the fact that we wore those uni's yesterday, and think it is just a marketing ploy to sell merchandise I noticed something yesterday that got me pissed.....

During Halftime the Jets honored 4 Original Titans that were on the SB III. Curly Johnson, Don Maynard, Larry Grantham etc. What I found odd was, that after the ceremony, the 4 players were on a golf cart that was bringing them from Mid Field to the tunnel. As the cart neared the tunnel, it stopped in the End zone as the Eagles were coming out. The Jets shortly followed and every player did not even acknowledge that they were there with the exception of Shawn Ellis who shook the hand of the 4 men. Now, I know that they played over 40 years ago, but one of them is a hall of famer and all played for a team whos' colors they were wearing.

Loved the uniforms. I actually got Maynard to sign my kids hat. I stalked him in the bubble before the game. He looks like wolverine from x-men. :)

With the weather at the games, the awesome tailgating, Titans throwback day, etc etc...this would actually be a fun season if we could play even a little.

    Lot's of fights yesterday, though.

You see the one near the Fireman Ed section? Some Eagles fan with a Dawkins jersey just pummeling someone.

Had a bad angle on it, cuz I was 2 sections over on the same side and below it. That looked like about 25th row. We were trying to see it, and that was the fight that got the most ooohs and ahhhhs. Tell you what I did see. At the elevator they use to toss trouble makers out (by the first aid station) I saw these two tough guys surrounded by like 8 yellowjackets, and of course now these guys are all nice.....begging not to be thrown out. You catch the halftime 'show' at gate D?

Also disgraceful that fans didn't stay in their seats for 3 more minutes to give these guys their due.

Anybody who left the stands should have their tickets revoked.

It's posts like this that are so out of the realm of real life that it makes you scratch your head. I took my six year old son. He wanted me to get him a foam #1 finger. HE was bugging me the whole 1st half. He also wanted a pretzel. I wanted to go to the bathroom....so we walked up with a minute to go. Is that OK with YOU? LOL

Question: When you watch a game at home don't you need to do stuff sometimes? Don't you catch a play on the kitchen TV or....GASP.....miss a play even?*

*and I have DVR too ya wisenheimers. You know what I'm sayin.

Yeah guys for real. I didn't intentionally leave my seat to disrespect the original remaining Jets. I probably would have made an effort had I known that they were coming out but I didn't even realize. Season tickets revoked? LOL. The guys that should have season tickets revoked are assholes like the guy with 3 seats behind me that gave them up to Eagle fans who spilled beer on me all game. Go figure I like beer in me more than on me. They proceeded to bitch after I took a swing at them for being so disrespectful.

They showed some at halftime on TV, my wife asked me wo Don Maynard was. My response was ..... only 1 of 2 Jets in the Hall of Fame. It's a shame that these guys didn't shake their hand or stop to show some respect to a few of the very few All Time Greats this franchise has ever had.
