I've been offered Greg Jennings & Heath Miller for Andre Johnson. My other WRs are: DeSean Jackson Percy Harvin Santonio Holmes Calvin Johnson My TE is John Carlson (Seahawks) I also have Aaron Rodgers at QB so that adds a little incentive. Should I do this? Kellen Winslow is also available on the wire.
The TEs seem pretty interchangeable though it would seem Carlson's success has been hampered by Hasselbeck being hurt every other week. Miller has been decent but it seems lately BR looks more to the WRs in the red zone than Miller. That being said I would almost call the TE end of the deal a wash, not going to help you all that much, and with that I would pick up Winslow right away for depth. In a PPR league I would go with Johnson as Jennings sees the ball spread around more with good WRs like Driver and another deep threat emerging in James Jones. I would stay with Johnson IMO.
And if it is a keeper league I would definitely keep Johnson as he is one of the best WRs in the league and is usually right around 100 receptions.
I wouldn't do it, there is a ton of TE depth in your league so Miller isn't a priority for you, and Johnson is consistently better than Jennings
Jennings has been no better than GB's #2 WR so far this year, behind Driver. Andre Johnson is a beast. That deal is HORRIBLE, and the other manager is trying to rip you off.
Yeah. Having Rodgers is what made this an interesting trade to me. I was leaning against doing it, I'll just go ahead and reject it. Thanks fellas.
