What was up with Wayne Hunter being in so many plays as "tackle eligible"? Did anyone else notice that and was as surprised as I was?

I hadn't seen that formation before today, unless I just missed it.

Can't argue with the overall results though!

I guess it's something they've been trying in packages. I remember when we put David Loverne at fullback, I think against the Colts in 2001 down 2 touchdown late at the 2 yardline, and that helped lead to a fumble, which Chukie Nwukorie took for a TD.

I don't remember that play. It made me think of Jumbo Elliot catching that ball--barely--in the end zone.

He's been tackle elgible on several occassions near the goal line. On the infamous 3-run sequence against NE, he was eligible at least once and I think twice.
