    This isn't a darksider rant, or SOJ thread. I am merely stating anger that with Hard Knocks this year, it was emphasized that Westhoff has to like you to make the team.

    That's great. And I will say our special teams are, if not better than most, damn right competitive.

    But why on earth cant we block an effing punt? We made them punt out of or close to the end zone several times, and those situations should not have been allowed to be 58 yard bombs.

    Just my two cents after a shitty loss.

    Blaming the ST for not blocking punts.....that almost never happens.

    Pretty sure we did in the first game against Miami. If anyone is the blame for this loss its clearly the offense.

    But I am kind of pissed, we should have done more on special teams.

    Of course it falls on the offense, but 80% of this board for some reason wants to defend Schotty. Who else is there to blame?

    We have blocked a punt this year already.....which is more than a lot of other teams this season.
