I don't see anything wrong with that at all. It saves injury to both the coach and potentially Sheets as well. Both parties are more likely to get hurt if one party doesn't see what's happening or isn't "trained" to deal with a hit. I'm in no means advocating him doing it without much reason as this makes it sound like he wasn't too close to Weis, but the concept to me is perfectly fine.
Agreed. The protect Weis theory at all costs doesnt work for me. He'd be best served by being up in the booth.
