its a vet team poorly constructed they needed a vet QB to make a run - clearly we all knew it was dumb overall i think he was a mistake and so was the idea to go the aging vet route instead of finishing the house cleaning started by idzik
why hasn't Gailey come into question yet? there is no other game plan than 1. screen pass to forte, 2. run up the middle 3. target Brandon Marshall?

Agreed, we are beyond predictable on O with the play calling. I think it was 3 times this game I said "here comes the 2 yard run on second down," and low and behold. Pass, run, pass. If we can predict it on the couch, it's bad.
Same here. Every time we got a few meaningful yards, my wife says something encouraging and I'm like "here comes Forte between the guards" and I was right every single fucking time. You have a back who has excelled outside and receiving fantastically his entire career. Run him up the middle.
My opinion is that when your QB is as bad as Fitzpatrick has been, there's no playcalling that can make things better.

And I am not going to listen to these half baked conspiracy theories about players being able to sit out with an injury without being injured. That level of conspiracy surpasses any level of common sense. Gronk 2 years ago had a situation where he said he was injured, and the team was saying he could play.
