Hard to believe this is the same guy watching in the highlights is the same guy on this team right now. He JUST turned 29 too. It isnt like he is 30+ already.

Look at the number of career carries. Obviously it varies from back, to back, but when a guy hits the 2,000 attempts mark it's pretty much over. Although he is still 1, or 2 seasons of wear, and tear away, that may not matter.

He was doomed from the end of his 2nd season. Besides his first 2 years, his best career finish in YPC is 4.5 That is good, but not elite. The other years were quite worse. In his first 2 seasons, the Titans had one of the best OL of the decade.

The OL we have right now, is good, but nothing special. He needs that elite line to find the holes. I hear ya though man. It's getting damn tiring already seeing him run right up the middle into the first jam he sees. If we want to use him better, we need to at least try outside runs. I mean we do it with Ivory, so why not try it with the faster back? After all, that IS what outside runs are for..faster backs..to get around the edge faster than the defenders.

In the end, I blame it partly on Marty being a horrible OC so far this year, and partly on Chris Johnson having too much early career success.

You really think 29 is any different than 30..... and coming off knee surgery?
