If they blew this I probably would've broke a few choice things in my house. It was a close game but it made me realize I don't think RB is our problem. Leon Washington is explosive and strong hitting the hole and should get more carries. I really think our main concern is a pass rushing DE, we need that more than a DT. It doesn't matter whos in your secondary if the QB can just sit back all day with a 4 man rush. But anyway a wins, a win! :jets: :finssuck:

If they lost this, I wouldn't have been able to properly function for the next week

i'm sorry to say but we should never have let go of Abraham... he is exactly what we would have needed today.

That D line is buffed up period. That has got to be the main concern this offseason. It just has to be... I still dont think J. Abe was our answer. He is still on the bench with ATL, right? Injury prone players only hurt you.. Even though we gave up a huge pass rushing DE, it was still the right move. IMO

Forget Abraham - you can have all the talent in the world it doesn't matter when you're undependable and on the bench half the time. He's already missed several games in Atlanta and we got Nick Mangold in that trade who should be a pro-bowler center and the rock of the Jets OL for years to come. The Jets will have to go get a pass rushing DE this offseason. They can't fix everything at once......

I understand that, but if you are looking for a pass rushing DE there aren't many that are better than abraham.. but believe me I still believe that giving him up was the right choice because we continued to develop our o-line`

And you're correct as far as the state of the defense - terrible. They do need a pass-rushing DE and a DT-NT almost as bad... I think they need about 4 solid players for that D to really jell....

Ellis i think is alright in the system. Kimo is just old. Moore is servicable. Noone will want to admit, but vilma is the one who is killing us.

Funny this same 51 that is "killing us" made two important tackles that saved the game. One on the goal line.................... geez I wish some other defenders were "killing us" too!

No problem, I was starting to wonder when I thought I saw two different posters blaming the D's problems on the best player. Seriously though, some big bodies up front better be the Jets goal this offseason....
