Who do you think is going to do it? I was really starting to buy the Bears until Cutler got hurt. Now im starting to think the Cowboys might be the team to do it.

As for Green Bay, I just dont see them doing it. They were really a few missed David Akers kicks away last year from going one and done two straight years. I think their home field advantage might be a huge disadvantage if they have to play a team like the 49ers in the freezing cold. (Look at the Bears Championship game last year, Rodgers was shit, to bad Cutler was worse)

You think that playing in Green Bay in the dead of winter would be a huge disadvantage for Green Bay if matched up against a team from a temperate city like San Francisco?

Green Bay is rolling. SF is having a great year, but I just don't see them winning in January in GB.

    OP has a point though.

Green Bay's home field might work against them. They have no running game to speak of and rely on a high flying passing offense. That type of offense probably fits better in a dome. If the weather is horrible outside, and they face a team like San Francisco, they'll have some trouble moving the football.

I do think their defense is better than it's looked, but their huge edge in the passing game every single week would shrink a little bit in terrible weather that restricts such passing.

GB looks great right now... but I don't see it lasting because they are playing a warm-weather type of play right now. Things will change once winter sets in.

GB's passing game operating at 75% of its current effectiveness is still too good for the vast majority of defences they'll be facing.

I was hoping for the bears to up end the packers but that's not going to happen now. Packers are going to win it I think, I think the Saints are the only ones who have a chance of beating them in the palyoffs.

I don't think it's a big deal. It is possible that the Packers may have more players who grew up and/or currently reside in warmer regions than do the 49ers.

At one time artificial turf vs grass was an issue. A team that played on natural grass 12 times in a regular season and then had to play on turf in the playoffs could be at a disadvantage. That's not much of an issue these days as the league no longer has any teams that play on the old style "concrete" turf.

I believe Green Bay would beat SF at Lambeau Field simply because they are a better team. Fan support and being comfortable in that location could only help the Packers, but I don't know that the weather per se would be any type of real advantage.

green bay or the saints. giants would be my 3rd pick, but i would have zero confidence in them. the pass rush has been lost the past few weeks also.

49ers remind me of a combo of the 09/2010 jets. very good defense, but they cant run the ball like the jets did in 09/2010. 49ers will be one and done in my opinion, unless the defense plays a great game in the playoffs.

Green Bay won on the road in Chicago last year to get to the Super Bowl, although Rodgers did go 17/30 and throw 2 interceptions. You would have to think that those numbers wouldn't be as bad considering the year he is having and especially playing at home. Having said that, the packers running game is not as good as it was last year, and their reliance on the passing game is much more evident. Add onto that the fact they played the Divisional round in a Dome and you can conclude that there is definitely some proof to your point.

I still cant see them losing, I think their toughest matchups would be either the 49ers or the Giants.

Watchout for the Cowboys. They have the talent and are starting to get some breaks.
    Momentum could take them deep.
