did the New England Patriots draft two TE's? Not only two TE's, but back to back in rounds 3 and 4 I believe.

Did they forget they had Ben Graham and Ben Watson on the team? WTF?

The Rams did too. They traded Manumanela or whatever his name is, though.

they run a ton of 2 Te sets, so they need at least 3, and the second TE they took is cinverting to FB. Also Ben Graham had some fairly major shoulder surgery this offseason

While unorthodox its more understandable with the Rams since TE was a huge need and they traded last year's starter in Manumanela.

I'm not going to argue that they needed RB and WR help, but the fact that Bellichick didn't spend a pick on D until the 6th round is still stunning to me.

Garrett Mills is more of a fullback. He will be deployed in the H-Back role that Chris Cooley is in in Washington. I agree that the Dave Thomas may have been overkill, but Garrett Mills was a good pick because of his versatility. I actually was hoping we got him but alas.

Garrett Mills is probably the young replacement for Patrick Pass, who's pretty much a receiver out of the backfield most of the time as it is.
