Let's just add to more of the media either hating on or ignoring the Jets... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/12744259/no-clear-choice-for-coach-of-year So let me understand this. Jack Del Rio has established his own program over the past 7 years, the team collapses to go 7-9 and he's a head coach of the year candidate? No love for Rex? You know you're an asshole when Belly calls you out and I laugh.
With all of the early blunders Rex had with timeouts and such, he won't get any acknowledgement from the voters.
he shouldn't, and I'm not sure how simply endorsing another coach who shouldn't either somehow is a snub of Ryan.
Separate issue - This Belichick-Casserly feud is so awesome. I can't believe I didn't know anything about it until this week. When I went to look, I actually found a bunch of Belichick insults at Casserly. I only know one other person whom he's gone out of his way to blatantly insult - Steve Gutman. He essentially said the same thing about both: Gutman: "I don't think there's anyone who has talked more and won less than Steven Gutman." Casserly: "Who's been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins? His percentage is like a meteorologist." I can only hope this keeps going.
Yeah I mean he took a team that went 9-7 last year and went 9-7 with it, how can he not be coach of the year
I was just making the case that there are better candidates for coach of the year then Jack Del Rio. If you think Del Rio should be in the conversation for COTY then that's just silly. Never did I say that Rex should get coach of the year. Personally my vote would go to Sean Payton.
There are differences from last years team to this years team. How about the fact that we have a rookie quarterback.
