    Job Description: The New York Yankees organization is accepting applications for a full-time computer programmer in their Baseball Operations department.

    # Qualifications: MUST BE EXPERIENCED in the following: DATABASE PROGRAMMING WITH MICROSOFT SQL SERVER: Must be able to write advanced SQL queries to populate and gather data from multiple databases; use various techniques to clean, parse, and import data into SQL databases; design database architectures to maximize performance.
    # WEB/APPLICATION PROGRAMMING WITH THE .NET FRAMEWORK/C#: Must be able to write advanced C# web applications that interact with back-end SQL databases using O/R mappers and DataSets; develop web pages using HTML and JavaScript; and be able to write other helper/utility applications as necessary.
    # MANAGING A DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to maintain development and production web/databases, and be able to implement changes efficiently to reduce downtime and maximize quality.
    # Experience with model-view-controller architectures, O/R mappers, and Windows shell scripting/Windows Script Host is preferred.
    # Baseball knowledge and mathematical and statistical backgrounds are strong pluses.
