it starting to look like that EM was only a good coach because of the the schedule last year. I'm not a big Eric fan and never was when they 1st got him. I'm not saying fire him but what happens when we play good teams? That what you measure a coach by.
We got rocked by a team that may not lose this season and just rocked a very good Chargers team. Then we lost by one score on the road to a Ravens team that has one of the best defenses in the league with a QB making his first career start. Don't forget we had 3 very catchable game tying TD's dropped at the end of that game. 0-2 is 0-2 but let's keep some perspective. There has been a lot of over reacting so far, but this is possibly the worst yet.
everytime the team went into a losing streak everybody wanted to fire Herm so why is it different for Eric?
The guy is not Rich Kotite, even herm Edwards, give him a chance. Although i do think he kinda has the Marvin Lewis going on. A defenseive specialist who became a HC and hasnt instilled a great defense
I wasn't a member when Herm was the coach, but he is as inept a coach as you'll see in the NFL. EM seems to be a pretty smart football guy and he did quite well last season. I don't think it's fair to "call him out" after 2 tough losses in his second season.
I gotta say, we're in for a fun offseason if the NFL shares your thinking. A lot of teams are going to lose big games to the Ravens and Patriots with theirstarting quarterbacks this season. We may see a record for head coaching vacancies!
yea if these games were seperated by the Miami game and we won that one there wouldnt be this much craziness going on.
If the jets lose this week, i am not showing face around this board until like Thursday. Then i will come and read the 6000 new threads on how every1 should go
I worry about this game. Miami has a penchant for beating us once a year, last year being the exception.
The thread by far. At least you can scrape off the shit. But we have to live with the OP's stink for a long long time.
yea but for some reason they always seems to bulk up for the division games Also, if you look at Saban and the Phins, they have a history of starting off slow, usually the first half of the season
