It’s crazy. It’s an epidemic in baseball right now. They need to expand bullpens or something.

I don’t get why none of these teams have tried a six man rotation. And when you need to, you skip #6 here and there strategically to get to your ace quicker. Maybe these guys would be a bit more fresh.

Oh my God, what a turnaround. One strike away from going 0-for-15 with RISP and getting swept, Bader singles and Vientos homers and the Mets win!

Alonso with the stupid and ineffective slide head-first into home plate costs the Mets the game.

Alonso is making it pretty easy to decide what to do with him so far - he's really been pretty terrible, well below the league average in hard hit balls. If he doesn't heat up in the next three months, he might find himself on the trade block.

Lindor the big hero with 4 RBI after coming in to pinch hit, as the Mets split the series.

Alonso continues to be a gigantic hole in the middle of the lineup.

Mets are truly pathetic against the stolen base - the pitchers are completely clueless on how to hold runners on base.

Absolutely awful performance in the ninth and tenth by the relief pitching and the Mets get swept.

It looks like they told Diaz that he'd better start throwing goddam fastballs.

First win for a Mets starter since April 17!

60-year-old Charlie Morton shuts down the Mets.

Mets with their fourth walkoff win of the year, as Nimmo goes yard to win it. Of course, they still lost two out of three, but ...

Diaz looks like the Diaz when he first got here.

I have to assume that Mendoza is going to get at least one full season, just because of the optics, but I have seen absolutely nothing that makes me think that he is a competent major league manager. This is a team that seems to have absolutely no understanding of fundamentals, and that is 100% on the manager.

Well, they won despite Diaz blowing another one.
