I know it's not why the Jets lost, but ftr the officiating was pretty awful. Even that fumble called on McCoy, in the Jets' favor, was bad since it was obviously going to be overturned.
Everything pretty much went wrong for us in the first quarter and a half. There was aBS false start call too that killed a drive and should have been a offisdes and given us a first down.
maybe, but ... I just rewatched the game and here's what really pisses me off about those calls ... I thought both of those calls we're complete bullshit. Especially the one on Dixon that lead directly to the Eagles' third TD. No question at all that Vick ducked his head into Dixon. But anyway ... we fight our way back to 28-13 and have the ball at the Eagles 39 yard line on our first possession of the 3rd Q. It's 3rd and 6 ... Sanchez throws incomplete while Babin is hitting him helmet to helmet. No call. Sancez limps off the field. Total bullshit when you already made those two calls against the Jets for hitting Vick. Should have given us a first down at the Eagles 24 yard line. If we score on that drive the game looks a lot different. Even if we make it 28-16 we're not in terrible shape. We punt ... Vick hits Celek for 70 yards to the Jets one yard line. 35-13 ... see you next week.
