As bad as NYJ is, - I look at the Texans. No Cap space. No draft picks. I am rooting my ass off for them despite the fact that they effed us by giving the Dolphins their 1st AND 2nd round picks in the 2021 draft from the Laremy Tunsil trade. What a lopsided trade. A 2021 first-round pick, a 2021 second-round pick, CB Johnson Bademosi and T Julien Davenport from the Texans in exchange for T Laremy Tunsil, WR Kenny Stills, a 2020 fourth-round pick and a 2021 sixth-round pick. A 2020 first-round pick at #26 overall turned into; A trade down to #30 & selected Noah Igbinoghene (CB from Auburn) & a 4th rounder that then traded down again & that I completely lost track of. A 2020 4th round pick that turned into Solomon Kindley OG Again ---- the Dolphins have Houston's 2021 first-round pick, a 2021 second-round pick, 2021 sixth-round pick. The Noah Igbinoghene draft pick didn't make any sense to me. Miami has Byron Jones & Xavier Howard locked up on big big $$ contracts for the next 2-3 seasons. Thank goodness they screwed that pick up.
Feel bad for Deshaun Watson. He is easily one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the league in my opinion. He just has absolutely nothing around him and little end in sight. They're going to be bad next year as well I imagine as they purge some of those bigger contracts or wait until they can purge them in 2022.
The Eagles did the same thing a couple weeks ago against the Browns (Denzel Ward) that the Steelers are doing tonight - keep throwing at the teams best corner. Everytime they're on offense they're throwing at Tre'Davious White. It makes no sense.
Not sure if I want the Browns to win or lose this game. Ultimately, I want them to have something to play for in Week 16 against us, but is it more likely they'll have to play for a division title if they win today or a playoff spot if they lose?
Ravens backup goes down at the 2:00 warning......and here comes Lamar out from the locker room. Awesome.
