Flacco was done by the time he got to Denver. His career is over. The Cards are coming off two losses after starting off 2-0 so I expect a refocused group to get the W and Kyler Murray to have some highlight plays.
I love when fans argue bullshit that they have no reasonable way to validate or verify, like Flacco is somehow more motivated for this game than he has been for games he’s been terrible in prior to this.
What are you talking about? So much projection on this forum He could have retired after last year Instead, he is coming off neck surgery He’s a Super Bowl MVP He’s a winner 1-4 Here’s a nice article on his mindset right now: https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports...0201008-ffjwmi52tbhbbos45os53loho4-story.html
I’m talking about your typical fan behavior contriving meritless claims to justify your hopes or fears but which are nonsensical when actually given any thought. do you really believe all of his good games were tied to being motivated and all of his bad games tied to a lack of motivation? If not, then even you don’t believe the nonsensical claim that his success is tied overwhelmingly to his level of motivation for the specific game and alternatively the games he did not succeed in was a result of a lack of motivation. I’m going to say he likely lost many games he was highly motivated to win and there is no significant correlation between his motivation level and overwhelming success that indicates being motivated for this game should fill you with the comfort that it will be a reason for victory.
Black and white thinking is useless Shades of gray, my friend This is a great spot for Flacco He is rested and excited Coming off the neck injury, he does have a lot to prove He is a very competitive athlete, but there are levels of motivation, it’s not some all-or-none phenomenon The Jets are his new “job” He’s been counted out by most NFL teams That’s a pride-stinger no doubt This is his 1st major audition since the surgery, not just for the Jets, but for all those around the NFL who are watching This game does have more meaning for him than usual as a result It’s a very special game for Joe It’s a small factor and won’t wholly determine who wins the game, but given the outsized importance of the QB position, it’s certainly worth mentioning Jets will win And I believe Flacco playing QB will be one of the reasons why 1-4
Flacco won the Super Bowl because of the defense. You of all people should know how defense wins championships.
Did you even watch that Super Bowl? Flacco also had an amazing run thru the entirety of the playoffs that year It was extremely impressive to witness Ignorance isn’t a good look https://bleacherreport.com/articles...-qb-with-brilliant-end-to-historic-postseason
Would have been nice to see Flacco and Gore in the same backfield back in the day. Instead of developing young talent, the Jets are prepping a couple of vets for retirement. Whatever floats your boat.
Denver Jerry Judy disagrees Brook.. If you are getting as annoyed as I am with his trolling can you ban his antics ? :/
If any coach of a football team with a running QB doesnt look at the game tape of Allen scampering about for fun and use it to their advantage, they need sacking.
Flacco and Bell to bring home a win? I think Chilli Dogs, a decent pickle, and chips will get me through the game...and a few thousand beers.
Gase is gone at the end of the year and if management isn't smart enough to recognize that then they are not smart enough to build a winning team anyway. I cant stand that so many posters have been rooting for us to lose out since week fricken 3. Seriously, after week 2 people wanted to lose out which makes our entire roster a bunch of losers. I think the tankers drive off the posters who don't consider themselves secretly amazing closet GMs with their perfect plans for the future. All based on losing. So I have some to the conclusion that I think we should get the 7th pick. Something about that just feels right. Nobody expects us to win anything at this point which makes winning funner. Also, the amusement of watching the tankers bellyache over a few wins could salvage the season a little. Go Flacco Go Bell Go Mims Go Jets!
