Also makes no sense pinch hitting Rosario for McMahon that early in the game. I get it was a somewhat big spot but Rosario was overmatched off the bench instantly by the dreaded 90mph fastball.

Can Boone let these fucking relievers finish innings? Bringing Doval in for one out only to start the next is asinine. He has to lead the league in 2-out minimal threat bullpen changes. And the Rosario move for McMahon that early looks even dumber.
He took Doval out with 2 outs after I said that cause I just knew it was coming. He’s going to have to stretch one of the good relievers tonight to more than 3 outs.
