And if Holmes can somehow stay far away from the huddle. The guy must be some pain in the ass behind the scenes
It was a good effort and the Jets fought to come back and they should have won the game. pure and simple, fans have a right to be disappointed despite what patfanken thinks.
what a condecending and patronizing post. u trying to down us with the bigotry of low expectation? we should have won the game and won't be happy until we win, no moral victory bullshit
Actually, only one thing i disagree with PFken. Miami didn't gift us a win,the refs gifted them a chance at the win. There was a sideline reception that never should have been, resulting in a TD
This, people look at highlights only and think other QBs don't make stupid throws. Freeman would get eaten alive here. Eli made some DUMB throws yesterday trying to gift wrap the game while RGIII was tying a bow and handing it to NY. Rivers, yeah you guys saw it. Stafford has 4TD and 5INTs this year including winning a game while thowing 3 picks. Christian Ponder just won a game by throwing for 52 yards and a pick 6. Flacco was garbage yesterday. Cam Newton has dropped off, not really surprising though. Kolb, yeah. Skelton, yeah. Carson Palmer, yeah. I mean if you actually watched those games, you would see a ton of QBs played so much worse than Sanchez and some QBs play equally bad as Sanchez. Just because you saw highlights of Stafford vs ST Louis and DET won and you saw the Stafford TD doesn't mean Stafford played average to below average. YES, Sanchez is a below average QB, but he is a below average QB we can make the playoffs with and potentially make some noise there! Elite QBs don't grow on trees. The Jets need to stick with Sanchez now, draft a QB next year in the mid rounds, let that QB watch with a clipboard. Do another draft and build a stable team so when Sanchez leaves, the rookie now sophomore QB has a solid team
If we somehow pull a SB win out of our asses this year, the TGG celebration thread will look something like this: "Man did we SUCK ASS today. We got LUCKY. We won DESPITE Sanchez....man does Sanchez SUCK. So much for a dynasty....we'll never win another game with Sanchez under center. FIRE TANNY!!!!!"
"Lets see Rex go back to back". "Guys the season is over, the Jets are 0-0 again" "Guys, the expectations are too high for us next year" "It was all luck, nothing changed" "The game was handed to us" I do have a feeling, if we ever win a Super Bowl it will be like Steelers/Seahawks where people can detract from it
Exactly man that is bougie at its finest. The New York Jets outplayed the New England Patriots and found a way to blow the game. We don't need any damn Patriots fans coming here and trying to console us with a condescending your team is united front. It is you trying to act like the Jets suck and do not have a chance this year in the division.
Jeez some people here are so butt-hurt. Calm down hardos. You're like the guys who say "fuck you" in the handshake line.
NO I would say it if his "view" of the game wasnt so condescending, snarky and completely filled with bigotry. Its like in little league when one team beat another by 1 run and said well you know you guys played real tough, I cannot believe that you did so well. You're the Special Olympiads I am so shocked that you almost beat us that I will congratulate you by looking down on you.
Yeah....fuck him. Thurs. nite Week 12 we face these fucknuts again...at our house. After the game we should mosey over to the Pats forum and "give them the business..."
OMG! Did we just agree. STOP the presses. Check outside and see if the earth is still rotating!
Hey, I never said the offense was great. I said they were improving. The Bills game was hardly a great game when you look at the entire thing. Yeah we won big and Sanchez was a champ, but they couldn't stop the run at all, letting in 28 points all touchdowns and the run game was terrible. That trend continued the next 3 games. Those 2 aspects have definitely improved in the last couple games and so has Sanchez. He was completing under 50% in some of those bad games. Now he's brought his average up to 54%. Before this game he was at 49. They seem to be finally getting on the same page. It's definitely not as simple as one player sucking or anything like that, it's the whole crew getting used to a new system. There were plenty of bumps in the road, plus we didn't have Keller. It's time to soar. If we can beat Miami convincingly, then it will really show where we've come since week 3.
Funny how when you don't make snide comments about the Jets, mock the team inaccurately, try to hype up the Patriots every other sentence you write a decent post. You are like Sanchez. The talent to be a good poster is there, you just don't do it consistently, and the bad sticks in peoples minds more than the good.
