????? your coming completely from left field here as far as the fans qoute is concerned.

You have evidence of this collusion or just your opinion?

if 400k is nothing to teams, why are they always nickel and diming players with pay cuts? the salary cap is why, which is a big deal, which makes every penny spent and saved important. if you think otherwise, you are the naive one.

and like any crime, if you get caught than it is a problem. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but the "every else is doing it" excuse isn't going to hold up for the one person who gets caught and can actually be proven to have done so.

I believe it was jets fan who put the mangini good, BB bad post up.

My guess is Childress is just plain stupid. These guys call each other constantly trying to get guys through waivers etc... I'll let your guy through if you let mine...

I bet you Childress right now is sorry he said anything. Could come back to bite him too.

If it's collusion it would be collusion to allow two players to become free agents.

The Patriots have given large contracts to practice squad players in the past. I seem to recall them signing Billy Yates to a $470K contract to be on their practice squad last year (but I could have the player's name and contract size confused - I remember Peter King mentioning this on HBO).

Belichick was trying to get his player to clear waivers so he could become a free agent. Once he cleared waivers he could sign with any team, including the Vikings.

As for Mangini, Patriots fans fear him for the reason all football fans fear him: we are afraid he's going to eat all the donuts.

He doesn't need to clear waivers to sign with the Vikings. If they claim him then he's a Viking. If he clears waivers then the Pats can bring him back to the practice squad.

Yes, I'm not even going to respond to your donuts comment. You clearly showed your maturity by posting nonsense like that.
