    Patriots Bandwagon: Exhibit A

    The Boston Globe

    http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-8208035.html

ATTENDANCE AT PATRIOTS GAMES IS DOWN DRAMATICALLY THIS YEAR. TO STADIUM MANAGEMENT . . . IT DOESN'T SIT WELL

    Article date:
    December 26, 1990

FOXBOROUGH - The stadium business is in trouble when the Super Bowl is out and Super Cross is in.

The Patriots, the prime tenant at Foxboro Stadium, long ago abandoned any positive references to the adjective "super." The paying public noticed, and only 22,286 viewed the Patriots' game on Dec. 15, a 25-10 loss to the Washington Redskins -- fewer than the 23,000 in attendance for a Super Cross motorcycle race last summer.

Those crowd numbers might be expected in England. Not in New England.

    ----------------------------------

Can't wait to hear the spin on this one from our resident Pats* fans.

The way I see it. If Revis can cover Randy the way he covered Andre Johnson on Sunday he will open up so many possibilities for Rex. If he can cover one on one Rex will have enough at his disposal to stop Welkers 1 and 2 yard dink and dunk catches. If Moss starts demanding double teams then Welker is going to be a problem. The better protection in the secondary the better the chances are that Brady leaves the game and goes on IR on Monday.

I say start the game early with some hard hits to set the tone and get the crowd into a frenzy. Nothing I would love more then seeing Scott take a bit out of Welker crossing the middle.

Agree! We have to come out and hit that o-line hard, and I think we will with Eliis back. Bart, Jenkins and harris were insane last week, I look for more this week, and dont be surprised with a scripted 15 first plays with a non-hudel offense and alot of Washington running a hard "Wildcat" or as they were saying "Seminol" plays, its going to be a damn blood=fest!

I just can't wait until Sunday.

I want to go to sleep and wake up in the parking lot.

I want to see Brady bloodied up and in tears by the end of the first quarter. I'm going to stay and see the after game "handshake", that should be interesting.
