He was good last season but I dont think its smart to pay a guy $150 Mill for one good season. Especially when that was an odd season like 2020 was. Good for Allen & his agent to strike quickly and take advantage of that 1 good season though. maybe it will work out for the Bills. Or maybe they will be paying an average or injured QB $40 million a season in a couple years. That would suck for them
If you think about it. Allen got them to an AFC Championship loss. Sanchez did that here, 2 years in a row. How fucked would we have been if the Jets had given Sanchez $150 mill guaranteed for that? We were pretty fucked when he only got a $20 Mill contract extension. Several good players had to leave due to lack of cap space and Sanchez couldn't raise the replacement players level of play just some perspective

Yes but he didn't play any preseason games last year and he had no trouble beating the Jets week 1. Besides Ben looked like he was done last year. I see the Browns and Ravens finishing ahead of the Steelers. The Bills should beat the Steelers week 1 in front of their home crowd.

One guys team had the #1 defense and offense revolves around ground and pound while limiting the time the qb threw the ball, and the other literally RAN through the qb, with no running game to speak of, an average defense and the qb having to be the entire show. Yet you compare them bc they both played in the same afc game? Lol come on
Bills defense is above average Allen wasn't the "entire show" ... that Stefon Diggs guy is pretty good. You may have heard of him. Allen was pretty average until he got there. We will see how long he likes being paid like a slightly average WR though
The offense ran through Allen and you know that. You can just admit that it was a bad comparison instead of trying to find other things to discuss to derail the point.
With the exception of Mahomes I would take Allen over any other QB in the league factoring in talent, and age. I hate that he is on the Bills being a Jets fan but he is one of the best QB's in the game. Anyone who says otherwise isn't being objective.
Guys, Allen led his team to 13-3 and accounted for 46 TDs last year. The year before he went 10-6, which included a loss to us when they rested their starters in week 17. Is it really that hard to admit they have a solid FQB who is getting paid the going rate?
