First off, he had 2. SEC Championships don't count, only National Championships do (even then, he'd still only have 4). Secondly, that's in COLLEGE, which doesn't matter even remotely. We're talking about an NFL player. IDGAF if he won 4 National Championships in college, if he doesn't do it at the highest level, he's not a winner in my book.

Yeah, and who says Tebow wouldn't have done that? Tebow did end the season 1-4...seemed like he was well on his way to failure.

Actually cupcake, all you said was:

    You didn't specify the level.

And personally, given the ignorance of your posts, whether or not you give a fark doesn't really matter to me.

Funny thing is that even Tebow's strongest detractors, well, those who have somewhat of a clue, readily admit that the guy IS A WINNER and that he has won on every level that he has played on.

There one thing you Tebow nuts are not want to see about that pats playoff game. Yes Tebow D did let him down in that game but the Pats went up 35-0 which means Tebow didn't score any points. So it didn't matter if the Pats only scored 14. What another thing u Tebow nuts don't look at is when Brian Dawkins got hurt Tebow only won one game after that in reg season.

Nobody wants to discuss how inappropriate Pierce's actions are...

That's probably because there was nothing inappropriate about his actions :)

Yes there were. He hit free throws, not a ridiculous shot or buzzer beater and then did it on the center court logo. If he hit the buzzer, I guess he has free reign to do what he wants, but he hit two free throws and did that with time left on the clock.

Meh, it's a matter of opinion. He hit 2 ff's to basically ice the game. Think there was 1:15 left and his 2 shots put them up by 7.

I am one of those that thinks that kind of stuff doesn't have a place in sports. Little kids see that and think that taunting your opponent is the way the game is supposed to be played. People should show respect for the themselves, their opponent and the game regardless of the sport...IMO of course

I am in between you guys. Basketball is different because taunting usually only occurs after dunks to be honest and celebrating usually occurs after a big 3 or buzzer beater, never free throws. So this was out of place to me. If he drove down the lane and posterized someone, he has free reign to do what he wants if the Hawks called a TO after the poster.

In my view, this was as far from taunting as you can get as it was in no way directed at the other team or players. It's similar to a guy turning around, running back down court while pointing skyward giving thanks to God.

Obviously the Tebowing was more extreme / a step or three higher than that, but again, it wasn't taunting. This wasn't like Terrell Owens running to the Dallas Star and staking his ground.
