I feel that Chronic foot problem will turn him into a Chad-esque WR.. Playing when healthy, effective in his prime.. Playing when hurt-- get off the field.
at wide receiver he is mediocre.at q.b. he is a shot in the dark.the jets would be better off drafting a w.r. and know what they are getting as far as potential goes. if they want a w.r. in say the fourth round.there will be many to pick from.one that I like is earl bennett who has glue to his hands.he is a legend in the southwest.
This is a 3 page thread about Brad Smith. Talk about a dead spot in the offseason. I think Smith can step up this year. I think his development was definitely hindered by them fooling around too much with him last year. The guy put up some decent numbers for a second year guy. I like his size, athleticism, and the way he plays the ball in the air. Moreover, the kid is known to be of superb character and very coachable. I think he's going to have a breakout year. 50 catches is not out of the question. -X-
I think that the CS is concentrating on the OL and the running game in order to set up and improve the passing game. Maybe Tom Brady can throw one long bomb after another to a speeding Randy Moss. But that's because he has had all the time in the world -- he could have cooked and eaten breakfast before he was rushed in a lot of games the Pats played last year (not us). Right now, I would say again that nobody respects the NYJ's OL. When we come out to play smash mouth in the path, the DL smashes our mouths and that's that. But If the OL kicks ass and the backs run wild, then we are set up to throw it over the heads of all the people coming down to support the trenches. If our OL is DEFEATING their DL, so much that we can run at will on them, then we can pass. When the defense can't figure out which hand you're going to hit them with, and either the left (run) or the right (pass) can knock them out, they are in fatal trouble. That's the way we like it.
