Even a 25 point IQ decline would not produce this outcome.

I still think the Browns will take Darnold, and then the Giants take Rosen, or the team they trade the pick to will - GRRRRRR! - and then we'll have to choose between Mayfield and Allen. That might be pessimistic, but I'm a 5 and half decade Jets fan so what do you expect?

I'm right there with you. I highly doubt the Brown do a draft day surprise and take Allen. I wish they would. The Giants are the wild card because they could trade with Buffalo and then Rosen would be gone too. Either way I expect Maccagnan to lie to the fans and say either Allen or Mayfield was the choice all along. Its going to be interesting, little more than 3 weeks to go.

I would like the Giants to take a non-QB and it makes sense if they are in win now mode but the opportunity to take a FQB comes around so rarely they really have to take one when they have the opportunity.

Not sure why you think the browns taking Allen would be a surprise, he has been mocked there often enough and has been a highly touted prospect for over a year now.

Because of many factors. His inaccuracy, his stats in a weak conference, his never being mention in the top 5 till late last year. I'm leary of these fast risers that come out of nowhere. I truly believe the Browns will not take him but I sure hope they do. Mayfield has a body of work that is worthy of being the first pick of the draft. Went to two schools and won the starting job at both. His stats are far superior to Allen in every way. But people get carried away with height, weight and speed.

He was being talked about as the potential top pick this year as soon as the draft ended last year, probably even sooner. Just because you haven’t heard about him doesn’t make him a late riser.

I still think Darnold goes first but either of Allen, Darnold or Rosen are worthy of being the first pick and all 3 would be during most draft years.

I heard of him just not first pick in the draft heard of him. I bet you he wasn't in the discussion anywhere on TGG forum last summer as the Jets pick.

i dont like josh allen but with that said thats not true , he would have been the first overall pick had he entered the 2017 nfl draft , you can even say he justify more the pick then then now because he regressed a bit this past year.

Yeah he really showed them in 2017 throwing for a whopping 1600 yards. I wonder why he didn't win the Heisman with those lofty passing yards. SI hasn't been relevant since the 80's.

I can't imagine Dorsey not going QB at #1. If it was trypical Browns, they'd take Barkley, but this isn't typical Browns.

I couldn't disagree more (albeit respectfully). IMO the only thing worse than taking Darnold at #3 would be taking Allen at #3.

He's just trolling now. He has no clue and is just throwing sh_t to the wall to see what sticks.

ROFLOL! You must have been drinking tonight. You're always very rational and fair, but this is ludicrous! Rosen isn't a scab on Rodgers ass.

I don't believe that for one second, but if it were to come true, Cleveland's in the SB within a 2-3 seasons if they add any other talent at all in the draft.

You think Allen will have them in the Super Bowl, considering he is such a projected project? Lots of faith in Tyrod Taylor I guess.
No way in hell any body with any football knowledge at all would think Mayfield would have Cleveland there.
Mayfield will slip in the draft.

Nope, haven't had a drop in over 26 years. I stand by my comp to Rodgers.

How can you say that? One of Rodgers biggest strengths is his mobility, and his ability to extend plays and create. Rosen is immobile and has zero ability to extend plays and create.

Sorry, you're not really watching Rosen's tape if you think that. He's not a scrambler, but he IS mobile, surprisingly so, and extended plays with his use and awareness of the pocket, as well as scrambling when he had to. When he's gotten hit it's usually when he leaves the pocket, but NOT because he's not mobile but because he holds onto the ball thinking he can make a "hero" play - he's going to have to fix that in the pros, but self-preservation is a great teacher.
