There was a lot of talk this preseason that Henne had made great strides this year. He certainly started off strong before his injury. He would be an upgrade over Sanchez but then again so would any QB active, retired or dead. Unless Sparano really loves Henne I would rather look at Orton or Campbell as a stop gap player until we can develop a young QB. I don't see us drafting a young QB until next year unless the FO believes McElroy can eventually be the guy.
You guys are foolish saying he cant be a backup. Like it or not Henne did beat the Jets like 3 out of 4 starts? I kno hes not a real starter, but a lot better than Brunnell who no longer really needs to be around.
Hailey didn't really have much of a chance to even work with Orton and Orton will probably land in Washington as a starter there
