Anyone see that apparently the sale of the Cubs can't be completed until at least midseason, because they want to transfer ownership of Wrigley Field to the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority first? I don't think it will make that much of a difference for the coming season in any event. The marquee free agents will be gone, the team is looking at trades anyway. Besides which, I couldn't see them adding more than 1 additional player at this point and that would be a bench guy. Soriano Fukudome Lee Ramirez de Rosa Theriot Soto Pie Pitcher. They might put in Theriot at 2 and Fukudome at 5, sliding de Rosa to 6.
