    LOL! Plays the entire game and gets zero tackles against San Diego. In the 3-4 defense your linebackers are supposed to make MOST of the tackles. If he has "constantly been in the backfield" it is only because the RB with the ball is already 10 yards down the field. Coples and David harris are a total liability in coverage but Rex will never admit his experiment of playing Coples at LB doesn't work. Keep telling me how good he is the next time the jets get beat 31-0 and he makes no tackles. Rex will take us all the way to 1-15.

    Can anyone actually describe the significance of Coples on the field?

    Yeah, I know he destroyed MJD and Donald Brown with man-style clotheslines, but I don't remember this guy being all that effective.

    I'm crunching him tomorrow to see if he is worth or worthless, so if any of his biggest fans really want to accentuate his defensive prowess, now is the time.

    Are you talking about Octopus the defensive set or Octopus the crustacean?

    Because that word doesn't have anything to do with any specific player.
