I know this is getting a little heavy against Herm but couldn't you also attribute the current conditions of Penny and Chrebet?

Well no it does not spread if that is wht you mean. However you can get it in your knuckles or any joint for that matter. The more U aggravate it the worse it gets & the more it hurts & swells up. Looking back to what KYJ said over & over again about DeW before we drafted him leads me to believe that his condition affected his play even while at U of K

The quote and then the first sentence in post 42 is classic material.

KYJ...for the hundreth time..said that Robertson was LAZY. He had no motor. Now if you think he had no motor because he was injured..thats a stretch..but I remember KYJ's comments because you constantly try to tie him being injured to what KYJ didnt say.

Hey seeing as how you're now online, why don't you be the man you purport to be, and respond to my post in the other thread involving Tampa Bay.

Come on gramps, let's see what you're made of- I'm waiting for examples. Your ignoring me is only making you look like more of a tool...

Denny, where the hell you been man? LTNS!

Anyway, I wasn't gonna pile it on but you do have a valid point regarding both Penny and Chrebet. You have to wonder what's in store for Tony Gonzales and Larry Johnson now. Will Herm play them both until they drop dead on the field? Has Herm finally learned how to say NO and keep guys off the field that don't need to be there?

I'm not gonna turn this into a Bash Herm fest as I'll stop here.

Don't get worked up and pulled into all the hype.

    Curtis will play this year.

Curtis will start the first game.

This is a BS story. All the insiders are laughing.

    Nah C...dont stop there.

What you wrote above just illustrates what a friggin hypocrite, glorified car salesman he was.

Heres a guy that preached team...accountablility...you win as a group and lose as a group and there will be NO pointing fingers..but when push came to shove..he coached like a scared 5 year old by playing veterans in to the ground...and never had a backup plan.

    He talked like a bully...and coached like a pus#$@.

As far as leaving Gonzales and Johnson on the field for dead...that too will not be a problem..the soft summer camps will guarantee an approx 14 bicep tears for the chiefs this year....Vegas has the over under at 12.

We had Lamont Jordan...possibly one of the top 3 or 4 backup running backs in the league..and he allowed this guy to get the shit kicked out of him..because and I quote "You cant drag Curtis out of the game..hes a warrior".

    So was Custer.

As I mentioned before..thats is one hell of a stretch..biggest of the year..thousands of guys come out of college without the right heart for the game...and very healthy knees.

KYJ said he had no motor..and was lazy...and teams should read in to that his knees are shot?

You want to blame the Jets for drafting a guy with shitty knees...put my name down.

Hey compadre, I've been lurking around. I actually was in Chicago for about 20 min. on my layover after visting the old neighborhood in July. Sorry I missed you, LOL. Besides the trip the offseason has been brutal.

But I can see Herm running guys into the dirt. Has Priest officailly hung it up? Cause if not, can u imagine?

    P.S.
By the way I like the "y" usage. If I could do it all over I woulda used a "y".

Bottom line is that there in nothing..not a thing positive about Curtis Martin playing this year. Unless this team has playoffs written on it after 5 games this season, I could care less who the rb is..or the qb.

Retire his number...have a Curtis day...big party...put him in the HOF...I love the guy but its over. We need to find out about 3 guys currently on the roster THIS YEAR.

He had a good career, great jet and now it's time to move on. Blaylock, Houston, and Washington now lead the way.
