Technically, if all of the remaining 5 weeks of games of our competitors goes against the Jets, they would not make the playoffs. If you ask me, if the Jets go 11-5, the odds of them getting in would be about 95%.
agreed. yes right now its 23% but i seriously doubt 3 teams from the AFCN are 11-5 or better. then it comes down to can Tebow win out? i can't believe its possible. So to me its really a question of can the Jets/titans win out? I don't believe in tennessee really. Our opponents SUCK from here on out. We are more talented across the board than every opponent from here on out except Philly, and they are about to mail in the rest of their year now that they are officially out of it. We have the best chance of any of those teams to win out, so if we just take advantage of our opportunity, we should be in. If we don't we won't.
Yeah, what he said. They are playing like Jets. I mean, I love this team, but they've been killing me slowly for 27 years now!
ive made this joke many times, and also before rex came here and made the sb a real possibility, that when im in my 60s the jets will finally win the sb and the stress from the game will give me a heart attack.
Deion said it best "when I had to run more than 10 yards to field a punt i let it go, it wasnt worth the risk" Even one of the greatest punt returners in nfl history knows when NOT to take chances. I love that Cro is always trying to make a play, but at that point in the game it was unnecessary. I forgive him for the one in oakland when we were down by a TD late, but I dont forgive him when were up by a TD and would have gotten good field position regardless.
