It's obvious that you have never seen the man play a day in your life, you must be going off of what people "Say around here". Harvin is a terrible draft pick? Looks like someone doesn't understand talent and big time potential when he see's it.

It's normal for a Jets fan to want a different player than Harvin, we all have our own thoughts...But to call Harvin a "Terrible pick" is out right wrong.

Just watch this youtube video, I'm not trying to change your mind, but just watch these highlights... If your not impressed, so be it...But you will.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34--XTjboDI

I've corrected Jet fans around here...Who had no idea what their saying when talking about Percy Harvin...No idea what so ever because it's clear with each and every comment that they make that they have never really watched this kids career. You dont have to be a supporter of the man, but it's funny when Jet fans say silly shit like... "Harvin is the same type of player that Leon Washington is" Watch that video...Leon could NEVER be the WR that Harvin already has become @ the age of 20...NEVER.

Some people even called him "Sideline Santana" around here, lol... Harvin plays with a wreckless style of play and one thing about Percy...You wont catch the man running outta bounds UNLESS he has nowhere else to go.

Like a moth to the flame.

Harvin is a terrible pick. For us. Another team could use him, and he very well may achieve success in this league if used properly. He doesn't fit our needs.

He's one of the most talented players in the draft, he's just as explosove if not the most overall explsove player in the draft interms of making big plays and being able to turn nothing into something with pure talent and he doesn't fit our needs? Give me a BREAK.

We only have ONE explosive player on our offense in Leon Washington, he's our playmaker and please dont tell me that Harvin "Is the same type of player" as Leon...Because that would be false.

We have playmakers such as Cotchery, Keller, Thomas Jones and now Stucky but as far as explosive players go...Leon is the man and HArvin would be a GREAT fit for this Jets offense.

percy has one big problem and its that he doesnt spend much time on the field due to poor health. besides, can you name the last florida receiver that was worth anything? cuz i cant. ike hilliard is as close as your gonna get and he was supposed to be a stud who turned out to be nothing more than a decent #2.

    You're right.

An explosove player is exactly what the Jets offense is missing. Especially if he has talent.

He and Leon are definitely not the same type of player, I mean, one's a RB and the other is a WR. Also, he is taller. Same player my ass.

Leon being the man just adds to the exciting, dynamic, and eminently expanding player that Harvin could be for us.

    Make it happen Woddy!

Because Percy Harvin had one freak injury last year...That means he has "Poor health"? Now thats funny. And FYI, Percy Harvin only missed two games last year and he bounced back STRONG after that freakish injury. It's getting really obvious that people have no idea what their talking about when talking about Percy Harvin...No idea what so ever other than BS comments that anyone can make.

Just watch this video of Percy Harvin after his injury while he was rehabbing his injury with HOPES of playing in that championship game (Which he did)...Percy Harvin has a heart, a desire to succeed and a motivation in becoming the best athlete that he can be, thats really second to none...And he shows all of that with this youtbue video during an interview with ESPN.

    http://video.aol.com/video-detail/percy-harvins-long-road-back/4148267723

Guess what Percy Harvin did against Oklahoma after he recovered from his injury during the national game championship, he simply put on a show. (Im an FSU fan and I was rooting for the kid after watching that ESPN inteview)

He put up something like 170 yards of total offense with 1 TD and a long of 52 yards during the national championshiop game during his FIRST game back from a freakish injury.

And to judge a player because of what previous players did @ the NFL level is out right stupid and makes to sense what so ever.

Isn't it enough that you have you own misinformation thread about captin injury, do you need to hijack this thread with it as well?

This thread is about the Jets on the clock right? I'll talk about Percy Harvin all I want with a thread like this, all I fucking want. Got that? You understand? Good

And believe me you...People were talking about Percy Harvin well before I even jumped on board with this thread, so get over it because :shit: with threads like this.

And I was just wondering... Did you even click that link and actually watch the video before you posted about me "Hijacking" this thread? lol, did you? It's obvious that you didn't because they asked the who the Jets would be taking @ 17 and guess what the answer was? None other than...Percy Harvin.

Let me guess, I guess they "Hijacked" this thread before the thread was even started...2Funny

he wasnt right on he was mocking you cuz you are sportin serious wood over this kid and hes not what we need. i saw the championship game too and was high as hell on him until i went back and saw other stuff on him (past injuries and such). also, there is no way he is a better pick there than a qb and getting britt in the second. we need a guy more like britt (big, physical reciever) than harvin (another little guy whos fast). you obviously dont understand the needs of this franchise.

If we draft him and he is a total bust, I have a feeling you will defend him until the day that he is cut.

He has no choice. Harvin as a Jet is his ticket to getting close to the team. He'll get on the field, in the locker room...I mean, he'll even get to sit on the bench every time Harvin needs a rest.

Thats not true, lol, I've already had an uncle who played for the Jets but thats not the point, the point is this...I like a lot of players in this years draft class such as Sanchez, I'm really starting to like this Gilbert kid, I've always been a huge fan of Moreno and you know what? The two players who I feel have the best overall talent in this years draft are Aaron Curry and Michael Crabtree

But the fact of the matter is this... Sanchez, Curry and Crabtree will all be off the board by the time the Jets pick @ 17 and Harvin will be the BPA @ a position that the Jets really need to upgrade and thats the reason why I'm all for Harvin and the funny thing is, Harvin has the potential to be just as good if not better than Crabtree. And as far as Nicks and Kenny Britt goes, those players ARE NOT top 20 talents in this years draft, and thats the reason why the Jets wont be drafting them with the 17th overall pick. Will the Jets draft Harvin @ 17? Who knows? But one thing is for sure...Nicks and Britt wont be getting drafted ahead of Harvin...By ANY TEAM and theres a reason for that.

I'll support this Harvin kid when nobody else will, because I honestly know what this kid can do on the football field; Make plays with the best of em. I've seen just about every game the kid has ever played in while @ FLorida and just like I wanted the Jets to draft McFadden last year (The most explosive offensive player in last years draft) I'll do the same for Harvin because he's this years Most explosive player on the offensive side of the ball.

I've always been a leader in life, never been a follower who just goes along with the flow like everyone else. If I love this kids ability, talent and potential...Thats my right. Who are you to say anything about it? Who are you to make jokes on the way I feel about my favorite player in the draft? Your just another nobody in my eyes, and when I'm going to sleep @ night, next to my lady...Believe me you...I could care less about you and what you have to think.

We drafted Vernon Gholston last year...(When I wanted McFadden) and look @ the year that Gholston had last year...

And I'm STILL in support of VG because he was honestly one of the most explosve defensive players in last years draft and I just dont believe this kid is going to be the next bust... Working with Rex Ryan, I'm confident that Gholston can turn into a playmaker for this Jets defense.

And your right...I'll stay supporting Gholston in the same ways I would support Harin (Until they get cut) Because I believe in their overall talent and potential to become game changers @ the NFL level.

Now...With a player like Anthony Shlegel, I couldnt WAIT for the Jets to cut his ass and you know why? Because I was NEVER impressed with that guy and I never believed in him as a playmaker...I CANT say the same about Gholston or Harvin.
