Haha man you went all the way with the Chargers to the Bowl. I have considered the same thing, because if they do actually get into the championship game against New England, then they will have the destiny feel, but they will end up like the 2008 Cardinals....

Damnit Soxxx I was just about to create this thread, but figured I should check for a pre-existing thread just in case. I never make threads, and was so excited to make this one! Damn you! Haha.
Dude, it's like 20 minutes before opening kickoff. I'm surprised there wasn't a thread like this weeks ago.

Yeah, valid point. Last year I had more time, so I had a few in depth posts about predictions. I've been procrastinating this year. Hopefully I'll still get a more in depth analysis of the season picks before Sunday.

It just seems like destiny that New England gets back to Arizona. Its crazy to because they have not played in Arizona since they last lost the Super Bowl. Hell I dont think Brady/Belcihick/anyone from the organization has been back at all.
there's always some crazy team that shocks us, I really like the direction jax is going on. maybe I am a year too early but what the heck?
Ill be honest, I think they have something going, I think the same applies for the Texans. I think the team that will shock most people is the Chargers, many people have them around 9 wins again but I think this is a big time super power team. I think they will overtake the Broncos and be a top 4 team in the NFL when it is all said and done. They play Seattle week 2, I think they will beat them and put the whole league on notice.
I don't believe in Philip Rivers, I was burned too many times by them b/c of Philip a few years back when they should have won multiple SBs.
That is true but I always felt like Rivers got a raw deal. He was just on the wrong team, I think if he ended up somewhere else he might have won by now. The guy can certainly play QB, he just needs things to come together. In the playoffs, he has had some bad luck imo (Kaeding, etc) while Eli had the polar opposite type of luck.
kaeding deserves his share of the blame but if Rivers plays better those games don't come down to kicks. That ridiculous INT to Leonhard changed that 2009 div rd against SD. he has played on a bunch of loaded teams and only made 1 title games and they won that after Rivers got hurt and the backup led them to the GW TD.
I dont blame him to much for 2006, he was to young. 2007 he was injured, 2008 the chargers were not as good overall. 2009 was not his best game. I think he can still rebound, this year though. He has to do it this year because the team is about to blossom.
Jets at New England Divisional Round... Would love to see this. Go in there and shock the world again.
A year early but Bortles is going to make them a contender soon. Yeah I'm not feeling the Texans yet. Fitzpatrick is brutal and I'm not sure about Savage. Had they grabbed Carr up at the top of round 2 or traded up into the end of round 1 and gotten Teddy, that would have been the basis of a team on the rise. Maybe Savage is the guy and they'll be ok. _
